今回はドーシャにつてみてみましょう
前回書いたようにアーユルヴェーダでは宇宙を五大元素に置き換えて理解してきました。
（忘れた方は前回の記事を読んでくださいね）
そしてアーユルヴェーダの治療体系としてこれらの元素を単純化させ、
３つの生命エネルギー、すなわちドーシャとして分類したのです。
このドーシャはそれぞれ２つの元素の組合せからできていて心身のあらゆる原動力となります。
身体的な特徴、感情傾向などすべての事は３つのドーシャに置き換えて説明する事ができます。
空 ＋ 風 → ヴァータ（Ｖ）
火 ＋ 水 → ピッタ（Ｐ）
水 ＋ 土 → カパ（Ｋ）
このＶＰＫは全ての人が持っていて体内で特定の働きをします。
例えば

Ｐ･･･消化力、代謝（食べたものがどれだけエネルギーになるか）
Ｋ･･･人間の構造をつかさどる
この３つがバランス良く働いている時をアーユルヴェーダでは健康な状態と考えています。
そしてこの３つのドーシャはライフスタイルや時間、季節によって絶えず変化しています。
